When I first saw the trailers for Dredd, I figured it would be shit. Visually awesome, but shit. Well, Dredd opened this weekend and I was definitely wrong. Check out some of the reviews it’s had in the first few days:
Who would have guessed that Karl Urban would be the baddest-ass mofo of 2012 so far?
“Dredd 3D” may present a dreary vision of the future, but it offers a promising encapsulation of the modern action movie.
For sci-fi action fans, it’s an instant classic.
