LA Has a Ghost Town: Surfridge

Not sure how many of you knew this, but Los Angeles has a ghost town over by LAX. This town is called Surfridge. Over 80 years ago a beachfront paradise sprung up just south of Marina Del Rey. Home to movie stars, directors and other upper crust Angelinos, Palisades del Rey, also called Surfridge, was 470 acres of beautiful homes, rolling streets and charming community. But sadly LAX started buying up the properties because of safety concerns, as of 2006 there were still street lights that lit up at night.
